Dear reader and my blogger friends,

I was finishing this book a couple days ago, actually this book was not my favorite genre to read, but i heard a lot of my friends on bookstagram keep posting about this book, so i was curious, then finally read it in audiobook (then i kept delaying to read when i started reading it, because to be honest this was not kind of my reading) so far i liked it, they were not mistaken about this book, it was so good for those who liked the books like Alice in Wonderland or Charlie and The Chocolate Factory, almost similar, but those had their own way to push you into their own story.

i loved the main character in this story, looked faithful (you know, although there was attractive man before her, she only loyal to her fiance) bold, didn’t give up for anyting which harm her, but for the rest, really full of liars around her and i felt every i kept reading it, i only guessed this one only talked bullshit and the rest.

for the cover, i heard there were a lot of version hardcover, before the jacket book included, those made this book was interesting to look at and bought, but i thought i liked UK version like the cover i posted above.

The writing was easily to be followed, so was the storyline, and i talked about the audiobook i had been listening to, if you used this version, it was just too cute! there was a short music that would accompany you in the beginning and the last part! like music box kind of, and you would heard interview of the author herself about this book,

Something i learned from this book was “TRUST NO ONE” !

Summary From Goodreads

Whatever you’ve heard about Caraval, it doesn’t compare to the reality. It’s more than just a game or a performance. It’s the closest you’ll ever find to magic in this world . . .

Welcome, welcome to Caraval―Stephanie Garber’s sweeping tale of two sisters who escape their ruthless father when they enter the dangerous intrigue of a legendary game.

Scarlett has never left the tiny island where she and her beloved sister, Tella, live with their powerful, and cruel, father. Now Scarlett’s father has arranged a marriage for her, and Scarlett thinks her dreams of seeing Caraval, the far-away, once-a-year performance where the audience participates in the show, are over.

But this year, Scarlett’s long-dreamt of invitation finally arrives. With the help of a mysterious sailor, Tella whisks Scarlett away to the show. Only, as soon as they arrive, Tella is kidnapped by Caraval’s mastermind organizer, Legend. It turns out that this season’s Caraval revolves around Tella, and whoever finds her first is the winner.

Scarlett has been told that everything that happens during Caraval is only an elaborate performance. But she nevertheless becomes enmeshed in a game of love, heartbreak, and magic with the other players in the game. And whether Caraval is real or not, she must find Tella before the five nights of the game are over, a dangerous domino effect of consequences is set off, and her sister disappears forever.
