Dear Reader and my Blogger Friends!

Actually i had read this book in December, but i hadn’t had a chance to review it on my blog, but i thought i had given more enough on my blog.

Summary From Goodreads

In ‘Rest in Peace my Girl’, the story begins with the author’s mother warning to be mindful about an astrologer’s predictions of “a difficult year ahead”. The story starts in Bangalore and changes locations from Hong Kong to Beijing, from Bellur to Hyderabad and culminates in a heartbreakingly sad journey to Goa to identify the dead body of a girl, who was the love of his life. The story weaves the tangled and interrelated threads of seemingly unrelated events into a compelling fabric, which takes the shape of a gangster story.
It is a story that investigates the nature of good and bad and how society bifurcates them; oftentimes ignoring the situational context of the human character.
By nature, he is an attentive observer of people and my surroundings; and his handpicked collection pieces have become the building blocks of his book.
Just like a pregnant woman who nurtures the blossoming creature inside of her until giving birth to life, He also spend the last nine months of his life giving shape to this book. he found this journey instructive and insightful, as explaining ideas and thoughts to others, makes it necessary to have full clarity of the subject matter beforehand

This book was sent to me by Sunil Varma himself to reviewing his debut novel, thank you for sending this book to me! after reading entire of this book, i didn’t want to judge just giving my honest review for this book for hoping to be better if this book did have a sequel later, i didn’t mean to give a bad intention but this literally what i though about this book.

I know for the first book probably still had a lot of to do and i got it in this book. This book was The Author’s own real event, so you know this book like a diary, sometimes other parts of the story didn’t have relation with the main story of this book, so just written naturally like diary, it made i confused, what genre this book had to be categorized as.

The plot sometimes got me confused as well, after the early story is right to be told then in the middle of the story back and forth between the story that had to be continuing at first and the view days back.

the character, so you will know who the author was/is if you read this book, so i couldn’t judge the visions on him and the people around this story because it really happened on them in natural real events.

About the cover, it something people got the first impression to decide whether or not would buy the book sometimes, for my opinion when the book first landed to me, i got the thought this book is about horror/thriller story, you know the girl was like would be dying, and the man next to her like the beast on the look, after reading it, oh out of my expectation, not at all! something i got disappointing!

The writing, well i got a lot of wrong writing and bad grammar in here, although i found out was so easy to be understood.

The good things are, this book is filled with History you could find out in this book.

This book was come from India, so if all of you are Indian, you could find out it easily 🙂

Book Review, Lucian Divine by Renee Carlino

  • Published : January 09, 2017
  • Genres :  Contemporary, Fantasy, Romance, paranormal, newadult, paranormal-angel
  • Pages : 242 pages
  • Format : Ebook
  • Goodreads : 3.69

Dear Reader and My Blogger Friends,

Actually this was my 4th book of this month, i have read The Royal series by Erin Watt, i just review it on my Goodreads account, you can visit here.

Summary From Goodreads

From USA Today Bestselling Author, Renée Carlino, comes a totally unique love story that is sure to make you question what’s out there . . . or who.

“My guardian angel is a drunk.”

Evelyn Casey’s life is at a standstill. She’s in her mid-twenties, struggling with the dating scene in San Francisco. Nothing seems to be working out, and she’s starting to think that she’ll live out her days in her crummy apartment with her overbearing roommate, Brooklyn. It’s absurd, but sometimes Evey longs for a guardian angel to show up and save the day.

And then he does. Seriously. His name is Lucian and he’s a guardian angel, been on the job for two thousand years. His sudden presence in her life is both good—he’s brilliant, witty, and warm—and bad—he’s brilliant, witty, warm, and hot as —-. But as perfect as Lucian seems, he’s got problems of his own. He’s taken up drinking and he’s brazenly inserted himself into Evey’s life, going against the greatest cosmic law ever created.

For Evey, the rules are simple: You are not allowed to hook up with your guardian angel. But sometimes fulfilling your destiny requires a leap of faith, a confrontation with God.

Yes, God as in God.

I was so excited to know that Renee Carlino would release her newest novel, every year i always wait for my favorite authors to release their books some of it is hers! i read it right away, in the early parts i lost my sense to read it, seemed like it was her first book, you knew her latest novels always great! i didn’t sense in it. this book had a fast plot, Lucian confessed to Evelyn about who he was. to be honest this was the worst book i had read of Renee, i started with boredom although i liked the ending, it was heartbreaking!

What Evelyn felt for Lucian was just so fast. How could someone suddenly fall in love to just met him once? I knew about Lucian, after she was born, but Evelyn? it didn’t make sense for me.

I knew Lucian was an Angel with all his capabilities, but he acted too arrogant, had no shame just show off! omg please!

and another i dislike in this novel God was like Toy, seriously ? Lucian called His God whatever he wanted.

So My Rates,

  • The plot    ♥♥♥
  • Character ♥♥
  • Cover         ♥♥♥
  • Writing     ♥♥
  • Storyline  ♥♥♥
  • Overall I give ♥♥♥

Review, DIMILY Series *Trilogy* by Estelle Maskame

Dear Reader and My Blogger Friends,

This series actually i had finished up past a view days of November, but i have just had a chance to give my review now, i will recap it into this post right away of those three books!

Did I Mention I love You Trilogy #1

  • Published : December 01, 2015
  • Genres :  Contemporary, young adult, Romance
  • Pages : 416 pages
  • Format : Ebook by Sourcebooks Fire
  • Goodreads : 3.95

i have always sense the story earlier, growing my impression and guessing where the story would be headed. Then my intention always go down when it comes i could guess the full story. i found it in this book! probably because i had found out the story line like this book earlier.

the first book i found it hard to like the story because of that thing and to be honest i didn’t read the full chapters but i read the most parts, fortunately i read important parts so i still could follow the line.

in this chapter Eden had summer holiday and tried to deal with her dad who had abandoned her for a few years and she spent it in her dad new family with his new wife and kids, at first she didn’t have problem with some of her new stepbrother, until then she met the eldest son Tyler Brush, the troublemaker, so many bad things she could find out, but inside of it she found it hard to hide her true feelings for him, without she realized it she actually love him but he was her stepbrother, she had to deal with the people around it and had to keep a secret with Tyler about the feeling they had.

The plot, like i said before i hate when i had known earlier where the story would be headed i didn’t find out the difference from what i thought about the story but the writing is still good for me, from the cover, it was nice when earlier you saw this book you would have the impression you wanted to read the book besides the other factor was the tittle i guessed. actually from the character in this first book, i couldn’t say between i liked it or not, because from the story sometimes i found it “yez this girl is good” then the other parts i could say “oh please what are you doing” so i didn’t like much and liked much.

So My Rates,

  • The plot    ♥♥
  • Character ♥♥
  • Cover         ♥♥♥
  • Writing     ♥♥
  • Storyline  ♥♥
  • Overall I give ♥♥

Did I Mention I Need You Trilogy #2

  • Published : March 01, 2016
  • Genres :  Contemporary, young adult, Romance
  • Pages : 416 pages
  • Format : Ebook by Sourcebooks Fire
  • Goodreads : 4.1

from all of books on this series, this second book i disliked the most because so a lot of i found it my hated of the characters especially Eden, in this book she had a boyfriend who really loved her but she was like treating him bad second summer of knowing Tyler, she spent it to chase him in another side of New York than filled her summer with her boyfriend omg whatever i more disliked her in this book! she was like a villain in this book.

like most of the books in the series the second part is like more the complicated things, all the problems are on this book.

So My Rates,

  • The plot    ♥♥
  • Character ♥♥
  • Cover         ♥♥♥
  • Writing     ♥♥
  • Storyline  ♥♥

Did I Mention I Miss You Trilogy #3

  • Published : July 21, 2016
  • Genres :  Contemporary, young adult, Romance
  • Pages : 416 pages
  • Format : Ebook by Sourcebooks Fire
  • Goodreads : 4.15

i agreed with goodreads rating in this book, it was beautiful ending, good closure! Tyler turned from troublemaker to the good ones who helped each other he was more mature with finding out himself afar from the people who cared aboit him and of course the ones he loved, Eden. The complication of the story before.

after the previous books i disliked, this book got a lot more attention to me, i liked the story which there was a life lessons to do more, you could take that in Tyler, someone who had to fight not only for his love but also himself.

So My Rates,

  • The plot    ♥♥♥
  • Character ♥♥♥♥
  • Cover         ♥♥♥

  • Storyline  ♥♥♥♥

Review, Nowhere But Here by Katie McGarry

  • Published : May 26, 2015
  • Genres :  New Adult, Contemporary, young adult, Romance
  • Pages : 400 pages
  • Format : Ebook by Mira Ink
  • Goodreads : 3.99

Dear Reader and My Blogger Friends,

Actually i had finished up reading this book a view days ago, and i hadn’t had a chance to post my review. this book was actually interesting for me, but i didn’t know why i was not too get the good sense to take my time to finish up this book quickly like other books i had read before and it took longer time.

Summary from Goodreads :

Seventeen-year-old Emily likes her life the way it is: doting parents, good friends, good school in a safe neighborhood. Sure, she’s curious about her biological father—the one who chose life in a motorcycle club, the Reign of Terror, over being a parent—but that doesn’t mean she wants to be a part of his world. But when a reluctant visit turns to an extended summer vacation among relatives she never knew she had, one thing becomes clear: nothing is what it seems. Not the club, not her secret-keeping father and not Oz, a guy with suck-me-in blue eyes who can help her understand them both.

Oz wants one thing: to join the Reign of Terror. They’re the good guys. They protect people. They’re…family. And while Emily—the gorgeous and sheltered daughter of the club’s most respected member—is in town, he’s gonna prove it to her. So when her father asks him to keep her safe from a rival club with a score to settle, Oz knows it’s his shot at his dream. What he doesn’t count on is that Emily just might turn that dream upside down.

No one wants them to be together. But sometimes the right person is the one you least expect, and the road you fear the most is the one that leads you home.

I liked the book that got me getting the new experience stories! this one was one of it! so interesting the author picked up this story. Perhaps, some of you thought the life of the motorcycle riders were full of the bad things! and so did i at the time, they were for me just like felon wherever they stayed, but you would have the other sight from this novel, that bad things were not all true, anyway i liked the idea of it.

The Plot of the story was clear where the main character Emily with her problems which shared into the first chapter that brought her to the issues in this story, the other main character Oz, a boy who have to live a life around the motorcycle riders and he assumed that would be the fate of him before Emily came to his life again that would change everything.

I love the character though! Emily was the bold ones and so did Oz who loved and had a faith with the family around who raised him.

The Cover story in this book was quite interesting with the main story about the motorcycle rider. The writing was like those young adult genre, i meant it matched with the story and environment which picked by the author herself.

So far i liked the story line although it took longer for me to finish up

  • Character ♥♥♥

Review, If I Was Your Girl By Meredith Russo

  • Published : May 03, 2016
  • Genres :  Romance, Contemporary, young adult, Glbt
  • Pages : 272 pages
  • Format : Ebook by Flatiron Books
  • Goodreads : 4.01

Dear Reader and My blogger friends!

This book was kind of opening up my eyes about the side of Trans people, the issues they had and how those could stay alive and i loved how this book spoke up, and i was delightful had met this book from one of YA goodreads choice nominees of this year ! and this book was deserved to get it! i loved to find out the new experience story! it was sensitive topic to be honest i didn’t support the idea someone had to change the gender, but i respect them to choose what was the best for their own life. i had known/ met some of them and the life was like the story of this book.

Summary From Goodreads,

A new kind of big-hearted novel about being seen for who you really are.

Amanda Hardy is the new girl in school. Like anyone else, all she wants is to make friends and fit in. But Amanda is keeping a secret, and she’s determined not to get too close to anyone.

But when she meets sweet, easygoing Grant, Amanda can’t help but start to let him into her life. As they spend more time together, she realizes just how much she is losing by guarding her heart. She finds herself yearning to share with Grant everything about herself, including her past. But Amanda’s terrified that once she tells him the truth, he won’t be able to see past it.

Because the secret that Amanda’s been keeping? It’s that at her old school, she used to be Andrew. Will the truth cost Amanda her new life, and her new love?

Meredith Russo’s If I Was Your Girl is a universal story about feeling different—and a love story that everyone will root for.

At first i was confused with the story, because i rarely read the summary earlier before reading the book, the character was called with different names between a male and female after contemplating, i knew the story would be headed. i love the main character in this book, she was so brave, bold, to take a risk. his old life was far from perfect and got the bullying where he was existed then he took the risk to change permanently who he was. for the cover i liked the photograph of that chick, liked showing her side of her, looked mysterious. A lot of messages included behind the story.

Omg this book though! I had never thought i would love this kind of book! I meant this truthfully a sensitive thing to say and happening to many people. And sometimes they didn’t know what’s inside and just judging.

Actually to be honest i dislike the story about the gay-thing but this different! And i seemed vague at first, wanted to keep going or not, then my friend from bookstagtam told me this book was good and look at this book now! Being one of YA goodreads choice nominee! And I didn’t doubt that, i had read it by myself. Sometimes i felt bad for Andrew aka Amanda, the one who had to have and deserve a good life on his teenage, but had a bad treat from the people around him and didn’t help him to get a better choice so that he felt depressed. I didn’t blame him to choose what he was to be now but although i knew it felt like didn’t receive what God had given him.

This book is really thoughtful and it’s like giving you a view don’t treat them differently, when you find out one of them just help them to get through it.

Review, The Way I Used To Be by Amber Smith

  • Published : March 22, 2016
  • Genres :  Realistic fiction, Contemporary, young adult, Fiction
  • Pages : 384 pages
  • Format : Ebook by Margaret K. McElderry Books
  • Goodreads : 4.09

Dear reader and my blogger friends,

i had had this ebook a couple months ago, and hadn’t had a chance to read it, and apparently this was a good story!  This book gave and left a message that

” don’t you ever afraid of telling anyone what really happens to you and don’t hide your dirty little secret by yourself ”

and that was probably Eden felt after got raped by her own brother’s good -closed-friend, the secret she wanted to keep herself in entire her high school, until she acted like a little slut, bad girl afterward, heartless just wanted to get attention from those who never saw her around, she assumed she wasn’t that attractive.

it had a good plot, started from her freshmen the day she got the awful day in her life until she brave to stand in her feet being brave girl to say what happened in her life in that moment.

i knew what happened to the main character, earlier, she definitely nice, sweet girl who was obedient to her parents, i thought her own best friend gave her the bad influence, beside what happened with her earlier. i had no idea what was eating her in mind, there were some attractive boys who tried to be closer to her with good attitude and intention, but she just didn’t care and only messing around with some guys just kept casual relationship, oh really? she changed to much after being a center of attention. i hated the character though!

for me the cover didn’t relate to the story, but wait, i thought it still, i just assumed the earlier she was like a beautiful flower in her way, then the petals just spread all over because she didn’t like that girl anymore, quite attractive from the first look.

it was no problem with the writing. storyline, it gave me a new experience reading, wasn’t like those books i read before, which always showed the sweetness about relationship and sort of stuffs.

Dear reader and my blogger friends,

actually i had this book in ebook format a few months ago, i just read the early parts, before moved on to another book, a few days ago i looked at goodreads’ annual polling, and there was this book! so i decided to read this book again.

And my heart completely burst, okey enough with the tears while reading this novel, i hate the book like this though!

It was heartbroken story, actually it was good although i found out a boredom in the middle, early story it was like so fast seems like the ending, then we would be brought to slow story just to filling Poppy’s the last days, yup but i still liked the idea of this story, i hated when i had to cry over and over their togetherness was not long in the end (ops sorry a little spoiler)

When i reached the earlier parts of this story, there was no surprises, the story would be like that, that made me disappointed. And to be honest i dislike “not -the happily ever after-ending story” always asking why it had to be like that? yep probably it looked lame. and yez the story like this for me just in a fairy tale, the boy was absolutely in love till die since they two as child. poppy and Rune forever blah blah blah.

“when you find the boy that will be your forever always, every time you get an extra-special kiss from him, take out a heart. write down where you were when you were kissed.then when you’re a grandmother too, your grandbaby- your best buddy- can hear all about them, just like i’ve told you all about mine. you’ll have a treasure-jar of all the precious kisses that made your heart soar.” (a thousand boy kisses jar)
