Dear Reader and My Blogger friends,
This time i will give my review on debut novel from An Awesome New Zealand Author, Nicole Goodin, early month she let me know that she had just released her first novel that has been planned on would be the series. To be honest i,d love to, and pleased to be given a chance to know and read the book.
Started to the topic, for debut novel this book was nice, i liked the characters, especially the main character Ellerslie and lawson, at first i didn’t know why Quinn had her part on this book, but i just assumed probably the author only gave the picture how Quinn takes a part of this story, and i only knew that Quinn would be in her main character completely in the next book, after Lawson and Ellerslie’s story part to their happy ending. But i thought it was no need and made the book so thick but it was ok, like i said before this book was like greeting for the debut novel before reading the next book of the series. I really loved Ellerslie’s character, from the picture of her character, she was absolutely nice woman, while lawson, i loved his possessiveness but in the right way, he really looked after the one he adored, to keep her only the one for him.
It was easy read, usual language that you used in daily life, friend speaking. You didn’t need to read all the parts of the book, especially the early parts, if you wanted to take the fast reading. What i liked from this story, it’s like romance + thriller in genre, it was a plus value of this book. At first i hadn’t thought the story would be like that, it was interesting to take the story that way.
Short story
Ellerslie life was so beautiful, complete, and had a really nice career, surrounded by the people who really loved her. before her husband dumped her with another woman whom she called her close friend. She was like couldn’t take the life she had now, so she moved out from LA to Boston to release all the bad feelings that haunted her. One of her day to look over the place she would use to work, took her to meet someone that she didn’t expect before. The hot man with the tattoo impressed her at first sight, she didn’t know that he was her best friend’s brother. They attracted for each other until they knew their true feeling. In the middle of their happy feelings for each other, they had to deal with something terrible that made the people around them two followed by being worried, threatened their life.
